Melina has been an integral part of Studio STH for over 28 years, contributing her expertise to projects in both Melbourne and Sydney. Throughout her career, she has played a pivotal role in delivering large-scale, complex healthcare projects across Australia and New Zealand, working across both public and private sectors.

With deep knowledge in project management, master planning for urban and regional health campuses, clinical health planning, and design documentation, Melina has successfully led multidisciplinary teams to bring challenging greenfield and brownfield projects to life. Her leadership in Health Architecture is well-regarded, especially in navigating stakeholder consultation, government processes, and procurement strategies, including her contributions to several Public Private Partnership (PPP) healthcare projects.

Melina is passionate about designing environments that go beyond functionality—spaces that are efficient, welcoming, and rooted in evidence-based approaches to health and wellbeing. She is committed to creating healthcare facilities that not only support their communities but also reflect a salutogenic approach to design.
